Lisa F. Rosenberg, M.D.Dr. Lisa Rosenberg

Dr. Rosenberg's love for ophthalmology is virtually hereditary since both her father and brother are eye surgeons. Her curiosity about how living systems work began as a child. "I used to 'operate' on my pet goldfish using my father's retired surgical instruments!"

She moved to St. Louis where she completed her residency at Washington University, and then returned to Chicago for subspecialty training in glaucoma at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. Dr. Rosenberg joined the full-time faculty at Northwestern where she achieved the rank of Clinical Associate Professor. Her research interests include investigations of novel medical, laser and surgical treatments for glaucoma. She is nationally renowned as a surgical textbook author, a contributor of over 35 publications and book chapters, and a popular lecturer.
